Colo. highway worker seriously injured on I-70

EVERGREEN, Colo. (AP) - A state highway worker has been seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle on Interstate 70 near Evergreen.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says 64-year-old maintenance employee David Wright was hit Friday on westbound I-70 near Evergreen Parkway as he was picking up debris.
Transportation officials say Wright was in critical but stable condition at St. Anthony Central Hospital.
