Much cooler air, with more water in it has moved into the News 5 viewing area, and as a result, showers and thunderstorms will be increasingly likely overnight into the early hours of Thursday. Highs will fall from those record levels on Tuesday to closer to average.
Thursday: Lingering showers. Highs 60s/70s.
Friday: Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs 70/80s.
Saturday, the next cold front will move in, increasing the wind speeds and temperatures. Highs 80s/90s.
Sunday, behind the front, winds will still be gusty at times, with highs in the 70s/80s.
For Monday, expect mostly sunny skies, a breezy afternoon with isolated storms, morning lows in the 40s and highs in the 70s/80s.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Highs 70s/80s.
Wednesday: Wind speeds increasing. Highs 70s/80s.
