DENVER (AP) - The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment is releasing its latest unemployment figures.
The figures for July will be released on Friday. State officials say they plan to outline the state's economic progress and put the figures in perspective.
Colorado's unemployment rate edged up slightly to 8.2 percent in June with manufacturing, construction, education and health services among the major sectors losing jobs. The rate increased from May's 8.1 percent.
