DILLON, Colo. (AP) - Colorado snowmobilers will have another year to learn the roads and trails that will remain open next year under new Forest Service rules.

Dillon Ranger District officer Ken Waugh says one important change is a buffer zone near Elliot Ridge north of Silverthorne to eliminate snowmobiler mistakes crossing into the Eagles Nest Wilderness.

According to the Summit Daily News, Miner's Creek near Frisco will also close because users didn't turn around when the road ended. Indiana and Pennsylvania gulches near Blue River will close for the same reason.
