Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton has been attending a NATO foreign ministers meeting to make her pitch for the new U.S. war plan for Afghanistan.
The meeting comes as the alliance's top official predicts a "new momentum" for the Afghanistan war effort in 2010.
Clinton has told reporters traveling that she's been encouraged that a number of NATO allies - and other countries involved in Afghanistan - plan to announce new troop commitments. She says the announcement are expected some time today.
Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the top American commander in Afghanistan, is also attending the meeting.
