Clerk's office reopens

PUEBLO - The Pueblo County Clerk and Recorders office has reopened after a precautionary closure caused by a man in line who told a county employee he was going to go home and come back with his gun.

Deptuies with the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office interviewed the employee and reportedly know the suspect's identity because he had requested a Vehicle Identification Number search. He's described as a 65-year-old African American male.

The main door to the Clerk's office in the Pueblo County Courthouse at 215 W. 10th Street was shut for about 20 minutes immediately after the man made his threats.
