In Pueblo people got out to do some good for the planet.
Several groups cleaned up at Lake Pueblo State Park.
Parks and Rec put the project together, and different groups got to help out and win prizes.
By the end of the three hour clean-up, they had collected several bags full of trash.
"Everybody, when you have a chance and you see something, do the right thing," Tina Velasquez, a representative of Walmart who helped out with the clean up. "Pick it up, don't walk on by. Just do the right thing."
They say it's a great way to give back to a beautiful area of the community.
