The stretch of Academy Blvd. from Maizeland to Drennan looks shabby, with plenty of empty stores.
Colorado Springs residents who want that area revitalized met with Colorado Springs city leaders last night to go over their wish lists.
Once plans are finalized, city council will take up the issue.
