Cinco de Mayo events scheduled at State Fairgrounds

Cinco de Mayo festivities happen in Pueblo Sunday, May 2. The event commemorates a battle fought outside Puebla, Mexico in the 1800s. Pueblo is Puebla's sister city.
The celebration kicks-off with a 5k/10k race at 7:30 a.m. and continues throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. The event is free to attend and parking is $3.

- 11 am-1 pm Grupo Mezcla
- 1:30-3:30 pm Fat Chance Blues Band
- 4-6 pm The River Street Band
- 6-7 pm Car Show Awards
Pepsi Stage
- 11:30 am- 12:30 pm Mariachi Grupo Oro
- 1-2 pm Guadalupe Dancers
- 2:30-3:30 pm Mariachi Aguila de Cesar Chavez Academy
- 4-5 pm Grupo Folklorico del Pueblo
