Church youth group volunteer arrested for sex assault on a child

A Colorado Springs church youth group volunteer has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault on a girl at the church.
Eric Caverly, 37, is accused of a 3-year pattern of sexual assault against the victim. He was arrested Tuesday in the 5100 block of Copen Drive in northeast Colorado Springs and booked on a Class 3 felony charge of Sexual Assault on a Child by a Person in a Position of Trust.
Colorado Springs Police are seeking any information from the public regarding other possible victims. Call 444-7000 if you have any information relevant to the case.
