Christmas tip off for NBA season, Nuggets face the champs on Monday

After a lockout threatened the entire NBA season this year, the shortened season that players and owners agreed to tips off Christmas Day. Some of the league's premier franchises will help kick off the season.
Here are Sunday's games (all times EST):
Boston at New York, 12 p.m.
Miami at Dallas, 2:30 p.m.
Chicago at L.A. Lakers, 5 p.m.
Orlando at Oklahoma City, 8 p.m.
L.A. Clippers at Golden State, 10:30 p.m.
The Denver Nuggets begin their season on the road Monday at 8:30 p.m. (EST) against the defending league champions, the Dallas Mavericks.
