TODAY: Another cold day expected tomorrow with more cold, below average temps. Good news is that we'll see mostly sunny skies during the day to help make it feel a bit warmer than it actually is.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies and cold again tonight...just not quite as cold as lows this morning. Overnight temps drop to 18 in the Springs and 10 degrees in Pueblo.
WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY: If you are hoping for some warmer temps you are in luck! Mostly sunny and MUCH both days with high temps in the upper 40's and lower to middle 50's across the southeastern half of the state. Skies will be sunny to mostly sunny which will help it feel a bit warmer.
FRIDAY: Increasing clouds, cooler and a chance of some showers locally. We'll see another Pacific storm start to bring more rain and snow showers across the Colorado Mountains. During the afternoon we'll start that storm across the high country bring us about a 20% chance of showers locally during the day. Showers will start as rain where temps are warmer and snow across the Wet Mountains, Sangre de Cristo's and the Rampart Range. High temps will be around 47 degrees in the Springs and 49 in Pueblo.
FRIDAY NIGHT: As that weak storm moves through we'll still have slight chance of a few light rain/snow showers in the mountains close to home and at the lower elevations.
SATURDAY-SUNDAY: Weekend forecast for the weekend will be chilly with abundant sunshine. High temps will only be in the lower to middle 40's in the Springs and upper 40's to near 50 in Pueblo.
MONDAY: New week ahead begins with more sunshine and temps just a little bit warmer than average. High for Colorado Springs will be in the mid 40's again and around 50 in Pueblo.
