Child found dead in Pueblo

Pueblo County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of 8 year-old Desirea French.
Undersheriff J.R. Hall says the child's body was found when deputies were called to a home in the Meadowbrook Mobile Home Community on Highway 96.
Deputies also found her father, John French Junior, in the residence. He was injured by a gunshot. Deputies say Desirea's grandfather, John French Senior, found the two in the home.
Hall is not saying how the child died. There are no suspects right now.
Investigators plan to release more information later today.
