An actor best known for his movie "Cheech and Chong" is sharing his love of Chicano art with the Pueblo Library District.
The art exhibit is called The Chicano Collection. It features digital replicas from Cheech Marin's personal art collection. The exhibit showcases more than 26-artists from all over the country.
"People are really excited about it," said Maria Sanchez-Kennedy, Infozone Museum Manager at the Pueblo Library District. "Cheech is a household name. Everybody knows who he is, and so seeing something from his personal collection--he loves collecting art."
The Chicano Collection will be on display on the fourth floor of the Rawlings Public Library until Sunday Nov. 22. The exhibit is free and open to the public Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sundays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
