Chicago's delegation for the vote to award the 2016 Olympics will have a decidedly golden hue.
Fourteen Olympic gold medalists, including Michael Johnson, Nastia Liukin and Nadia Comaneci, are among the 26 Olympians and Paralympians traveling to Denmark next week in support of Chicago's bid.
Chicago is locked in a tight race with Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo. The International Olympic Committee will choose the 2016 host on Oct. 2.
Noticably absent is Michael Jordan, who played for the Chicago Bulls and has appeared in videos supporting Chicago's bid.
