Cheyenne Mountain remains in first at 4A girls state tennis tourney

The Cheyenne Mountain girls are looking for a three-peat at the 4A state tennis tournament in Pueblo. And they have the lead heading into Saturday's championship matches.

After Friday's semifinals Cheyenne Mountain leads the team competition with 56 points. Regis is second with 44 followed by Broomfield with 42.

Cheyenne Mountain's Kristen Sullivan has advanced to Saturday's championship final in number 3 singles while the team of Katie Stagnaro and Lainey O'Neal has advanced to the championship match in number two doubles.

The final round begins at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the City Park tennis complex in Pueblo.
