Anyone wondering how the Pueblo Chemical Depot goes about destroying mustard agent weapons can find out Monday during a special luncheon meeting of the League of Women Voters of Pueblo.
The meeting is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at La Renaissance restaurant at 217 East Routt Avenue.
Bruce Huenefeld, site manager of the Pueblo Chemical Agent Destruction Pilot Plant, will present a video illustrating how mustard-agent weapons will be destroyed at the depot using neutralization and biotreatment. Huenefeld will take questions afterward.
The meeting is open to the public. Make your reservation by calling 544-4956. The $12 charge may be paid at the door. LWV is not a women-only organization.
