Cheerleader wins first "Athlete of the Week" Award

The "Loaf ‘N Jug High School Athlete of the Week" is back! Our debut winner of the new school year is senior cheerleader Ashley Marquez from the Dolores Huerta Prep School in Pueblo.
Cheerleaders are sometimes the forgotten athletes but they practice and work out just as hard as anyone at school.
Ashley has been a cheerleader for three years and while that takes up a good portion of her time she still makes room for community service. In the classroom Ashley gets good grades and she's already completed more than 40 college credit hours.
