LONGMONT, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors in Boulder have dismissed a felony charge against an 18-year-old woman accused in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 16-year-old boy fleeing a fight on New Year's Eve.
Kendra Balentine had said she was at church when 16-year-old Jason Grimmer was struck. She also said damage found on her car was from previously striking a parked car.
Police and prosecutors said Thursday they have concluded Balentine wasn't involved in the accident that killed Grimmer.
