BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Boulder County is considering changes to its contracts with polling places following an anti-abortion display at a church on Election Day.

Boulder County deputy clerk and election coordinator Molly Tayer says the display at Sacred Heart of Mary was outside the 100-foot electioneering limit and on the church's private property.

The Daily Camera reports Saturday (http://bit.ly/RZX7MC ) that the American Civil Liberties Union sent a letter saying such displays on the property of polling places carries the implicit approval of the government.

Tayer previously said the county would not use the church again but on Election Day couldn't force the church the anti-abortion display that included thousands of crosses representing aborted fetuses.

Tayer says the contract changes that may be explored would be geared toward avoiding similar conflicts.
