Change of command at Schriever

Col. Karen A. Rizzuti will relinquish command of the 310th Space Wing to Col. Jeffrey T. Mineo during a change of command ceremony Sunday, Jan. 9, at 11 a.m., in Building 210 on Peterson Air Force Base.
Colonel Mineo comes to Schriever from Beale Air Force Base, Calif., where he served as the commander of the 940th Wing. Colonel Mineo is a graduate of Florida State University and holds a master's degree in Business Administration. He is a senior navigator with more than 2,200 hours in the T-37, T-43, B-52G, and B-52H.
Colonel Mineo will replace Colonel Rizzuti, who will become the deputy commander of 10th Air Force, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Worth, Texas. Colonel Rizzuti has commanded the 310th Space Wing since October 2008.
