The new week will start warm, but cooler air will move into Colorado as soon as Tuesday. An area of low pressure north and west of Colorado will bring in enough available moisture for thunderstorms to fire up on Monday. Storms will first pop in the mountains around the noon hour, and the thunderstorms will then roll onto the plains by mid afternoon. High temperatures will fall about 10 degrees beginning on Tuesday, and that cooler air will stick around for the entire work week. A chance for a shower or thunderstorm will be out there just about every afternoon and evening for the week ahead.
