Ceremony for fallen soldiers Mon. at Fort Carson

A recognition ceremony Monday on the Mountain Post is scheduled to honor fallen soldiers and their family members.
Family members of fallen heroes will ready poetry and their children will be recognized in a medal presentation. The event is put on by Fort Carson Survivor Outreach Services.
Survivor Outreach Services provides long-term support to families of the fallen. They opened a Fallen Heroes Family Center in October; designed for counseling services, support groups, classes and special event.
Monday's ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Fort Carson's fallen Heroes Family Center.
