CDOC Apprehends Fugitive Inmate

Pueblo, CO - On April 24, 2013 Community Parole Officers arrested fugitive inmate Jamie L. Salazar at a residence in Pueblo, Colorado. Salazar was a wanted fugitive who had walked away from CCSI community corrections facility in Pueblo, Colorado on April 1, 2013.

Salazar entered the Department of Corrections on April 10, 20120 on an 8 year sentence out of El Paso County for 2nd Degree Assault. He was parole eligible on June 25, 2012.

Department of Corrections Parole officers took Salazar into custody without incident. He is also wanted for the assault and kidnapping of a female in Pueblo, Colorado.

 Division of Adult Parole Director Tim Hand commended the officers involved in the apprehension and arrest for their work and dedication.
