CC edges top-10 Duluth

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Nick Dineen had two goals to lead Colorado College to a 5-4 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over seventh-ranked Minnesota Duluth on Friday.

With the win, the Tigers (18-15-2, 12-12-1) moved into a tie with Wisconsin for sixth place in the WCHA standings. The top six teams earn home ice advantage for the first round of the WCHA playoffs.

Trailing 3-2 in the second, the Tigers scored three straight times beginning with Dineen's second goal.

Jack Connolly extended his point-scoring streak to 10 games with a goal for UMD (19-8-5, 14-7-4).

Mike Connolly had a goal and two assists to become the second Bulldog with 40 points in each of his first three seasons.
