Caught on cam: Police officer slams into wheelchair bound man

A wheelchair-bound New Jersey man is recovering after being struck by a police cruiser. Officer William Stadnick's dashboard camera was rolling last month when he struck 73-year old Ludwig Lomberk as Lomberk was rolling across a busy Millville street.
Amazingly, Lomberk survived the horrific crash, although he did suffer a broken leg. The city's police chief says Officer Stadnick isn't at fault and has been cleared of any wrongdoing.
Chief Ed Grennon says the dark and rainy conditions made it "really hard to see" Lomberk, who was crossing in the middle of the street and through oncoming traffic instead of at a crosswalk.
