Cars stranded in Hwy 24 mudslide

The mudslide on Highway 24 has cars stranded in the middle of the road, stuck in mud.

Heavy rain from a severe thunderstorm brought large amounts of debris over the road.

It remains closed as crews work with snow plows to try to remove some of that mud.

Several cars were caught in the middle of the mud. Emergency is on scene and injuries are unknown at this time.

No estimate on when the highway will reopen.
