The American Cancer Society is calling for a reduction in cancer-causing toxins we can't help but be exposed to on a daily basis.
Carcinogens may be found in our water, food, personal care products and the air we breathe, according to a new Cancer Society report released Wednesday. That's led cancer experts to say the US needs to come up with strategies to screen for and study environmental chemicals.
They say that even though most carcinogens in our environment are not plentiful enough to be associated with proven cancer risks -- they still need to be identified and limited.
