Air Force football coach Troy Calhoun is no longer a candidate for the coaching job at the University of Colorado.
The "Boulder Daily Camera" and the "Denver Post" both report that Calhoun told members of the CU search committee that he is not interested in the Buffs job. The Buffs have been searching for a new coach since Dan Hawkins was fired last month.
Calhoun's Falcons accepted a bid on Wednesday to play in the Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana on December 27. Their opponent will be a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference. Georgia Tech, Clemson and Boston College are all possibilities.
