Calhan woman convicted in love-triangle killing

A jury has convicted Traci Lynn Adams of 1st Degree Murder for a love-triangle killing in Calhan back in October 2011.
The jury reached its verdict Wednesday finding Adams guilty in the shooting death of her former boyfriend Robert Miles. Police say both Adams and her boyfriend Mark Manyik admitted to luring the 55-year-old to their Calhan home with the intent to kill back in October.
The arrest affidavit in the case reveals Adams may have used text and phone messages to lure Miles. Friends of the victim told News 5 Adams invited him over for a candle light dinner.
According to the District Attorney, Adams sentencing is expected shortly.
