Burgundy edges White in Avs intrasquad scrimmage

The White team rallied from a 2-1 deficit to beat the Burgundy 4-3 in the Colorado Avalanche annual Burgundy-White team scrimmage Tuesday night at the Air Force Academy.
Defenseman Erik Johnson scored the game winner at 11:12 of the third period. Ryan Stoa, Brad Malone, and Matt Duchene also scored for the White team.
Greg Mauldin had a goal and an assist for the Burgundy. The Avs open the preseason Thursday night at Dallas.
