Burglary suspect arrested after short foot chase

Colorado Springs have arrested a burglary suspect following a short foot chase in the Holland Park neighborhood near Filmore and Chestnut. Colorado Springs Police tell News First 5 that they were following an investigation of a suspect involved in burglaries and were about to make an arrest on a warrant when the suspect took off on foot.
The suspect was able to elude arrest for a short period until officers eventually caught up with him and took him into custody.
