Bulldogs compete in beauty contest

Several four-legged canines strutted their stuff in an Iowa dog pageant.
On Monday, bulldogs from across the country competed in a pageant in hopes of being crowned the most beautiful bulldog and serving as the official mascot for the 101st Annual Drake Relays.
Some owners dressed their bulldogs in army fatigues while others sported formal wear in an attempt to catch the eyes of the judges.
In the end a bulldog from Des Moines named Meatball was named the most beautiful bulldog for 2010. meatball received a key to the city, royal cape, and crown.
He will make several public appearances at Drake Relay Events in Des Moines which last through Saturday.
