A second plea deal has been reached after a series of bank robberies over the summer was linked to a family.
Braden Butson had pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery, each carries a maximum sentence of six years. The 4th Judicial District Attorney's Office tells News 5 those sentenced would be run concurrently.
Earlier this month, Nicholas Butson accepted a similar plea deal. The Butson brothers were linked to eight bank robberies in Colorado Springs between May and September.
Their father, Brock Butson, is also charged in the robberies. He is scheduled to be in court next month. His attorney says he may consider a plea bargain. We'll keep you posted on this case.
