DENVER - The Denver Broncos top pick of the 2012 NFL Draft has caught the attention of coaches this pre-season. Defensive Tackle Derek Wolfe leads the Broncos defense in tackles with seven and is tied for the team lead in sacks at two.
Wolfe was a three down player on Saturday against the Seahawks. Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio used Wolfe at both defensive end and defensive tackle. Wolfe is even closer to securing a starting spot after Justin Hunter became sidelined with torn triceps.
The Broncos host Randy Moss and the San Francisco 49ers Sunday in at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
