The Denver Broncos and their defensive coordinator, Mike Nolan, have parted ways.
The announcement came Monday following a meeting between Nolan and Head Coach Josh McDaniels.
"I can't say anything other than Josh and I mutually agreed to part ways," Nolan said.
"I have great respect for Mike and wish him success in the future," McDaniels said in a team statement.
Under Nolan this season, the Broncos finished 7th in the NFL in total defense. Last year: 29th.
Next year, the Broncos will have their 5th defensive coordinator in 5 seasons.
