GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A British resident suspected of killing his wife and dumping her body in western Colorado in 1997 has arrived in the U.S. to face charges.

Garfield County sheriff's officials say Marcus Bebb-Jones arrived in Glenwood Springs, Colo., on Saturday.

He is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, concealing a death and domestic violence.

Bebb-Jones reported his wife, Sabrina Bebb-Jones, missing in 1997, when the two owned a hotel in Grand Junction, Colo. A rancher found her skull in a remote wooded area on Douglas Pass in Garfield County in 2004.

British police arrested Bebb-Jones at his home in
Worcestershire, England, in 2009. He was extradited after
prosecutors said they would seek only a life sentence, not the
death penalty, if he is convicted.
