Bridge in Canon City to close Wednesday

The 9th Street Bridge in Canon City will close on Wednesday for one day for repairs.
The bridge is the main way people get across the Arkansas River in Canon City. The bridge will close from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Northbound traffic will detour west on Griffin, and north on 4th Street to Royal Gorge Boulevard. Southbound traffic will go south on 4th Street and then east to Griffin.
The work includes a new expansion joint and asphalt.
