TODAY: Plenty of sunshine, a bit breezy at times and about 3-5 degrees cooler than yesterday. A weak cool front will arrive later today and bring us a bit of a breeze and those slightly cooler temps. Winds will be from the northwest to begin the day before the front arrives and then from the southeast at 10-15 mph after it passes. No precip expected locally or anywhere in the state today.
TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies and at least 8-10 degrees colder tonight! Lows will drop to 34 in the Springs and 33 in Pueblo.
WEDNESDAY-THURSDAY: Plenty of sunshine both days and a nice warming trend. High temps will make it back into the lower 70's in the Springs and upper 70's in Pueblo.
FRIDAY: A storm system moving out of Nevada and eventually through Colorado will bring us cooler temps, more clouds and a chance of a few thundershowers to eastern Colorado. Rain or even a few snow showers possible over the highest elevations across the Continental Divide. Temps to end the week will be at least 8-10 degrees cooler. We'll be watching for a slight chance for a strong storm or two across eastern Colorado during the day as the storm moves to the north and east.
SATURDAY-SUNDAY: We'll start the day with a very slight chance of a lingering shower early in the morning. Then the rest of the weekend forecast will be gorgeous. Plenty of sunshine each day with temps in the mid to upper 60's in the Springs and lower 70's in Pueblo. Overnight low temps each night will stay above freezing for almost all of us at the lower elevations.
