MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. (AP) - People have used Google to check on everything from the sublime to the ridiculous. Now, the technology company has launched a product that can be used to check something that can be vitally important for those who are diabetics: their blood sugar levels. The company has unveiled a prototype contact lens that can monitor glucose levels in tears. When and if the product comes to market, it can be a boon to millions of diabetics who have to prick their fingers to draw their own blood as many as 10 times a day. But don't rush out looking for the contact lens just yet. Google says the product is still being developed - and will take at least five years to reach the consumer market.
