BP makes huge oil discovery in Gulf of Mexico

BP announced this week that it made a "giant" oil discovery in the western Gulf of Mexico, finding multiple reservoirs of oil from a single, deep-sea drilling rig.
The drilling rig went down a stunning 35,000 feet (Pikes Peak: 14,000 feet) in search of the oil.
Further testing will be done to determine how much oil is in the reservoirs.
