Boulder Wildfire Has Presidential Attention

DENVER (AP) - Gov. Bill Ritter has met with firefighters,
volunteers and families displaced by the wildfire near Boulder -
and gotten words of encouragement from President Barack Obama.
Ritter's spokesman says the president expressed his empathy and
support for the families and firefighters. He says Obama wanted to
ensure Colorado is getting the resources it needs to fight the
destructive blaze.
