A bomb threat in Pueblo West this morning caused several homes to be evacuated and a school to go on lockdown. Tonight, deputies say a man suspected for having explosive devices is under arrest on unrelated charges.

Anthony Heptig, 45, is in the Pueblo County Jail tonight on two charges of contempt of court. Right now there are no additional charges against Heptig, until this investigation is complete.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office says Heptig was staying inside a garage on the 300 block of Karval in Pueblo West. Investigators say they had received tips that Heptig had manufactured explosives.

The Pueblo Metro Bomb Unit responded and authorities say they discovered two suspicious devices. The devices were removed and will be destroyed.

During the investigation, seven nearby homes were evacuated and Liberty Point Elementary school was temporary on lockdown.
