A man found dead at the U.S. Air Force Academy appears to have no connection to the school.

A spokesman for the Air Force Academy says the man was discovered dead Wednesday morning near Kettle Lake. The spokesman says an investigation is under way but that the man is not a cadet, doesn't work at the Academy and doesn't appear to have any connection to the Air Force.

The man was identified as 47 year old Fridtjof Bobzin Jr. An autopsy was performed, but there were no visible signs of trauma and no obvious cause of death. Toxicology tests will be conducted. The initial investigation did not reveal anything suspicious related to the death.
