Body dumped in ravine identified

FORT COLLINS (AP) - Authorities say a woman found dead in a wooded area in northern Colorado is a 57-year-old Fort Collins woman reported missing earlier this month.

The Larimer County sheriff's office said Monday that the body of Kathy Adams was found Saturday in a ravine along U.S. 36 between Lyons and Estes Park. Authorities are investigating her death as a homicide.

Her brother reported Adams missing Oct. 12 after not hearing from her for several days. Police who went to her home said there was evidence that made her disappearance suspicious.

Adams worked as a psychic in a shop in Fort Collins.

Authorities tell The Coloradoan in Fort Collins that they want to talk to John Marks Jr., who lived with Adams.
