A Washington woman and her blogger friends are doing their part to immortalize Fort Carson's fallen. Robin or rb137 as she's called online, started keeping a diary of Fort Carson soldiers who have died in Iraq and Afghanistan. "Even though this is a person I didn't know, this is a person whose life really mattered." says Robin.

The idea started with Operation Desert Storm and still holds strong today with writers going online to remember these brave souls. Like Robin, many have no military background but want to do something for the country. "I imagine myself as if I was in a military family or in the military at all. I think that it would be really important for me to know that random people cared about what I was doing." she says.

She says it doesn't matter what you feel about the war, the important thing to her and her fellow writers is to pay respects those who have given their lives for our freedom. "No matter what your feelings are, you still cry for the vets that don't come back alive." she says.
