BLM accepting comment on Feb. oil, gas lease sale

DENVER (AP) - The Bureau of Land Management has proposed putting Northwest Colorado up for bid at a quarterly oil and gas lease sale Feb. 9.
The 5,285 acres are on seven parcels in Routt and Moffat counties.
People can comment on the proposal through Sept. 19.
The next BLM oil and gas lease sale is Nov. 10, when the agency is offering 54 parcels totaling about 41,700 acres around the state. Protests to putting any of those parcels up for bid at the lease sale are due Sept. 12.
