This comes at the energy company plans to close a coal-fired power plant in Canon City by 2013 and shut down a gas-fired power plant on Victoria Avenue along the riverwalk. We're meeting with Black Hills Energy officials today. More to come.
Black Hills Energy provides power for 93,300 customers in nearly two dozen communities, including Pueblo, Rocky Ford, Canon City, Westcliffe and Cripple Creek.
