Black Hill Energy restores service to about 2,500 in Canon City

Black Hills Energy says power has been restored to all customers impacted by a power outage Friday afternoon in Canon City.
The company's website reported more than 4,400 in Pueblo and Canon City were without power around noon, but a company spokesperson says that was an error with their website. At the peak of the outage, 2,500 customers were impacted in Canon City, with no reported outages in Pueblo. Black Hill Energy is working to fix the error on their website reporting current outages.
