The 2012 holiday shopping season is about to go into full swing as "Black Friday approaches.
To get ready this year, there are "Black Friday" apps that you can load up on your smart phone.
Start out with the "Black Friday" survival guide for iphone and android devices. It is developed for the folks who run the "Black Friday" websites. The free app lets shoppers view leaked and verified black friday ads in real time, search for the best deals and create personal shopping lists. Click here for Black Friday 2012.
Another on is called, "Shop Savvy". This free app lets you use your smartphone camera to scan prices and search for the best in-store and online deals. It's available on Apple and Android devices. Click here for Shop Savvy.
Iphone users should take along the discount calculator, which was created to help shoppers estimate ahead of time how much items will cost and how much will be saved during a sale. There is a similar app for android devices. Click here for Discount Calculator.

According to 2012 annual holiday survey from the Deloitte Financial Advisory Group, 68 percent of all smartphone users will use their devices for holiday shopping this season.
